We spent Memorial Day in the flashy, glitzy city of La Jolla, just north of San Diego. While it is popular for swimming and cruisin' around in expensive cars, we mostly went for the views. But first, we had a great home made breakfast together.

Not only did Bo bring home the bacon, but she cooked it, too! |

I had been dreaming of a pho lunch for days! |

While we were in that part of town, we swung by Sandy's office in the University of California, San Diego. |

On the way back home we made a trip up to see Mt. Soledad's Veterans Memorial |

We celebrated our last night out together with cheap Mexican takeout. Bo ordered 3 tacos and a bunch of taquitos. :P |

After a quick dinner, a classy dessert at Heaven Sent in North Park. North Park really had great night life. Sandy and Grandma are really lucky to be so close to the action! |
