So far 2016 has been off to a bumpy start but it was nice to find some respite in a week-long trip home to NC. The basis of the visit was to attend the wedding of my cousin, Erik, and Lauren. Planning trips in January is generally useless, but we were incredibly lucky to have clear weather for flying, driving, and marrying. In fact, had it been one week later, they would have swapped sunny, 50 degree weather for yesterday's unusual mid-Atlantic blizzard!
