That Fall Feeling

Seth and I made a long weekend out of Rosh Hashanah and headed to Upstate NY to visit the Coluzzi clan.  Don't bother with Vermont, Maine, or New Hampshire; the Finger Lakes is the best place to kick off Fall, hands down the most wonderful time of the year. 

After a drive along some wineries, Seth, Rich, Linda and I stopped by an AKC dog show in Sampson.

Our hoard of squash.  We didn't stop here--we also picked up a half bushel of apples and cut enough rhubarb for several pies. Fall is the best :o)

 

Yes, we are in Waltham, but that won't stop Fall, especially with Charlemagne the Red Maple adding some color down below.
